Kinetic study of the induced expression of mGFP5-LacI/NLS fusion proteins. Homozygous lines of EL700S (containing no LacOs), EL702C (containing three copies of LacOs) and EL702E (containing a single copy of about half-size LacOs) were tested. Seedlings germinated on 0.5× MS agar plates for 10 days were transferred to Petri dishes containing 30 μM dexamethasone (Dex) in 10 ml water. Three seedlings from each line were analyzed at 0, 6, 12, 24, 48, 72 and 96 h. The figure shows a composite of three independent blots with anti-GFP antibodies. Time of induction after Dex addition is shown on top of the figure in hours (h). M, protein size markers.
