Genes differentially expressed in response to heat-shock-induced overexpression of
lab, grouped according to functional classes. Bars represent the fold change between
differentially expressed genes in heat-shocked wild-type embryos and heat-shocked
hs-lab embryos. Positive values indicate that the relative expression level of a gene is
increased (upregulated) following lab overexpression and negative values indicate a decrease (downregulated). Absolute
average difference (Avg Diff; see Materials and methods) values are given for the
lab overexpression condition as follows: white bars represent Avg Diff <100, gray bars
represent Avg Diff ranging from 100-1,000, and black bars represent Avg Diff >1,000.
