conserved helices in (a) are in red and are indicated by numbers that correspond to
helices in the crystal structure of Figure 3. The alignment in (b) was created using Clustal W [39]. Residues in red are 100%
conserved across all isoforms; residues in blue are highly conserved. These red and
blue colors correspond to the red and blue regions of the crystal structure shown
in Figure 3.
