Numbers are based on 19 mutations recovered after screening of brood 1 has ceased. Two out of a total of 24 white- mutants (five mutants were recovered while brood 1 was screened) were mosaic for the mutation. Mutations on chromosome 2 were slightly more common than mutations on chromosome 3; brood-2- and brood-3-derived mutations were equally frequent. |
