HAC stability in murine cells is influenced by nuclear localization and chromatin organization

Daniela Moralli, David YL Chan, Andrew Jefferson, Emanuela V Volpi, Zoia L Monaco BMC Cell Biology 2009, 10:18 (6 March 2009)

Human artificial chromosomes exhibit greater mitotic stability in murine cells when they are localised within a chromocenter, a finding relevant to developing their potential as gene expression vectors in animal models of human disease.
