A serum sample was incubated on antibody microarrays prepared on hydrogels (left) and nitrocellulose (right) and detected with direct labeling (top), indirect detection (middle), and RCA (bottom). The same serum sample was used in each color channel for each experiment. Scanner settings were identical within microarrays performed on the same substrate.
