Expression ratio is computed by dividing the average expression level of the A group by the average expression level of the B group. The numbers of differentially expressed genes were determined by random permutation (P < 0.001), as described in the Materials and method section. *In selected comparisons, to reduce potential false signals due to stromal effects, the genes that were less than three-fold different in expression were filtered out from the listed total number of genes.
