Expression of the assay samples. The P. horikoshii fusion proteins, expressed in CHO-K1 cells from 34 randomly selected bait samples, were evaluated by western blot analysis using a polyclonal antibody against the Gal4 DNA binding domain. In this figure, we show the representative results of 11 samples. The cell lysate without transfection was used as a negative control (NC). Each molecular size with the gene ID (PHXXXX) corresponds to the Gal4-fusion protein.
