The gene identity code (ID) refers to that of Database of Genomes Analyzed in NITE (DOGAN) [26] entries for P. horikoshii OT3 [26]. Ortholog classification was performed using the Sequence Similarity Database (SSDB) [46] in the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) [48,49]. *The proteins were reported to form a homo-oligomer in P. horikoshii OT3 or orthologous proteins (interlogs of self-interaction). Proteins unique to Pyrococcus without orthologs in another archaea species.
