For a given output, significance of signaling responses was measured as the ratio of their regression coefficients (coef.) divided by the standard deviation (std) of coefficients corresponding to random outputs from the same population as the actual outputs (see Materials and methods). Averaged ratios outside a 95% confidence interval (horizontal dashed lines) are considered significant.
