The abnormal embryos from which DNA could be extracted (17) were genotyped across the linked interval and all shown to be MommeD3-/-. These abnormal (very small) embryos were genotyped and shown to be MommeD5-/-. These normal embryos were genotyped and found to have the expected ratio of MommeD10+/+, MommeD10-/+ and MommeD10-/- embryos. ¥Four of the abnormal embryos were able to be genotyped: two were MommeD10-/+ and two were MommeD10-/-. *p < 0.0001; §p < 0.05.
