cAMP signaling in glaucomatous astrocytes. (a) cAMP levels in unstimulated ONH astrocytes were determined as described in the Materials and methods. The basal cAMP level was significantly higher in glaucomatous astrocytes compared to their normal counterparts. Values are the mean ± standard deviation of cAMP expressed in pmol/mg of protein.
