The same miRNA family plays roles in different modes in different species. Locust,
fruit fly and human have the same targets if only the 'seed' sequence is used for
target recognition. If the 'seed' and region A work together, mir-8 can regulate different
targets in insects and human. If the 'seed' and region B work together, mir-8 in these
three species can regulate species-specific targets. hsa-miR-200b belongs to the family
of mir-8.
