The figure shows the cumulative distribution of G+C fraction as measured for macroRNA exons (red), lincRNA exons (black) and ancestral repeats (blue). LincRNAs tend to have higher G+C contents than macroRNAs. Ancestral repeats tend to possess a low G+C content.
