SNP distribution in TgCkUg2. The genomic sequence of TgCkUg2 was aligned with the sequences of Me49 and VEG [14]; the SNP distribution over the 14 chromosomes is shown above. Green SNPs denote a type II background, where TgCkUg2 is identical to Me49, but different from VEG. Blue SNPs denote a type III background, where TgCkUg2 is identical to VEG, but different from Me49. Orange indicates novel SNPs where TgCkUg2 is different from both reference strains. Grey areas are devoid of SNPs between these strains; genotypes II and III are highly similar in these regions.
