Duplications at the root of the eutherian tree. The number of duplications found at the root of the eutherian tree are shown for
different Ensembl releases (colored numbers) with respect to the number of eutherian
species included in the analysis. Other duplications found in sub-clades (for instance,
primate or rodent duplications) are excluded. In the first releases with gene trees
(39-41), PhyML+RAP were used. The first low-coverage genomes were added in release
41. Starting from release 42, TreeBeST was used to infer the gene trees and dubious
duplications were called when the duplication nodes were not supported by any extant
duplication.
