Although the majority of probes covering CGIs do not contain peaks of 5hmC, those that do show a striking enrichment over certain loci. Intragenic CGIs in (a) are found at chr9:101,153,320-101,154,414 (left panel) and chr11:90,279,237-90,279,648 (right panel). Intergenic CGIs shown in the example in (c) are found within the gene Zip4.
