What is meant by 'genome biology'?

Genome Biology is about biology in the post-genomic era. We believe the availability of genomic and genome-scale information will change the way most, if not all, biologists work. Genome Biology aims to help researchers respond to the increasing impact of genomics on biological research by providing up-to-date information and critical assessment of progress, and by reporting on and reviewing advances in biology informed by genomics.
