.reviews

Genome Biology aims to provide review material that readers need in order to assess and evaluate progress in genomic and post-genomic research. Protein family reviews aim to provide a standardized set of information about families of structurally and functionally related proteins. Each protein family review includes information on gene and protein structure, evolution, localization and function, and is intended as a quick reference source for readers unfamiliar with the family. Protein family reviews are usually commissioned, with the editors aiming to ensure coverage of all relevant areas of biology and genomics but suggestions of protein family reviews are welcome.
